On May 17, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City said it had just issued a document requesting the investors of two social housing projects in the area to review the records of home buyers because there were signs that some individuals with economic conditions, who are subject to personal income tax, still submitted their purchase records.
According to the Department of Construction, currently, a number of cases registering to buy houses at the social housing apartment project lot B4-2 (Bau Tram Lakeside Green Urban Area - phase 4) invested by Saigon - Da Nang Investment Joint Stock Company, have a written commitment not to pay personal income tax.
However, through coordination and review, the Da Nang City Tax Department identified a number of cases with personal income tax codes, who are subject to paying personal income tax, but still submitted home purchase applications.

Therefore, the Department of Construction requested Saigon - Da Nang Investment Joint Stock Company to urgently review and make a list of cases that have been approved to buy social housing at the Bau Tram Lakeside Green Urban Area Social Housing Apartment Project but do not have a personal income tax confirmation document from the Da Nang City Tax Department and tax branches in the area.
With the same content, the Department of Construction also requested Saigon Thuan Phuoc Green Real Estate Joint Stock Company to review and make a list of cases that have been approved to buy social housing in block B2 of the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park Social Housing Apartment Complex Project (6 batches).
The Department of Construction requested Saigon Thuan Phuoc Green Real Estate Joint Stock Company and Saigon - Da Nang Investment Joint Stock Company to report before May 25 to conduct review and post-inspection.
According to the Department of Construction, there are currently two social housing projects for sale in Da Nang, including the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park Social Housing Apartment Project (scale of 1,496 apartments) and the Bau Tram Lakeside Urban Area Project (scale of 2,736 apartments).
