Launching the first writing and voting contest for “Happy School” in 2024

The contest aims to raise the interest of families, schools and the community in helping children live and study in a safe and happy environment. Vietnam Children's Magazine organizes the first writing and voting contest for "Happy School" in 2024.

Along with that, the Contest also honored the Top 100 typical "Happy Schools" of 2024 voted by students, parents and the community on the Vietnam Children's Electronic Magazine (https://treemvietnam.net.vn). The Contest is organized on a voluntary basis and does not charge any entry fee.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Huy - Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Children Magazine, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest said that through the "Happy School" Writing and Voting Contest, we aim to promote the participation of students nationwide, encourage them to express their thoughts and wishes, develop writing skills, form a positive lifestyle and thinking, spread good humanistic values, and join hands to build a safe and happy learning environment for teachers and students.

Participants are students nationwide (≤ 18 years old). The Organizing Committee will accept entries from August 16, 2024 to October 10, 2024 (based on postmark).

In particular, all qualified contestants will be granted an online certificate (at: https://treemvietnam.net.vn/truong-hoc-hanh-phuc).

According to the rules of the writing contest on “Happy School”, each contestant sends to the Organizing Committee 01 work with a length of less than 1,000 words. The genres include letters, reports, essays, poems, etc. sharing memorable memories surrounding relationships with friends, teachers, in studying, subjects, the school you are studying at, etc. that bring happiness and meaningful lessons to the students themselves. In particular, the writing has value, meaning, spreading and inspiring to students, the community and society.

For the 2024 "Happy School" voting category, candidates, parents, schools, communities... participate in voting for "Happy School" online on the voting page of the Vietnam Children's Electronic Magazine at: https://treemvietnam.net.vn/truong-hoc-hanh-phuc. Voting time is from September 1 to October 10, 2024. The expected time to announce the results is October 15, 2024.

The award and honor ceremony is expected to take place in November 2024, welcoming the new school year 2024-2025 and celebrating the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20.
