Launching the campaign to protect the environment and biodiversity of Vietnam's seas and islands in 2023

On December 22, at Nui Chua National Park, Vinh Hai Commune (Ninh Hai), the Department of Environmental Crime Prevention and Control (C05), the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Provincial Police to organize the Launching Ceremony of Environmental Protection (BVMT), Biodiversity Protection (BDSH) of Vietnam's seas and islands in 2023.

Attending the event were leaders of Department C05, Office of the Ministry of Public Security; members of the Provincial Party Committee: Tran Minh Luc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Colonel Huynh Tan Hanh, Director of the Provincial Police; leaders of relevant departments, agencies, organizations, localities, units and more than 400 students and people in the province.

At the launching ceremony, the leaders of Department C05 called on cadres, soldiers, people and departments, branches, units and localities in the area to raise public awareness in environmental protection and biodiversity protection with determination, change awareness, unify actions, proactively overcome difficulties and challenges, prevent the increase in the rate of pollution and environmental degradation, exploit and use resources sustainably, ensure ecological balance...

On this occasion, the leaders of Department C05 presented environmental protection equipment to Nui Chua National Park; presented gifts to families with difficult circumstances and poor students who have overcome difficulties. Department C05 and Nui Chua National Park also carried out many other meaningful activities such as: Mobile propaganda to disseminate laws on environmental protection, biodiversity protection and the fight against crimes and violations of environmental laws; launched a campaign to clean up the marine environment, collect waste at some locations in Vinh Hai commune; presented glass water bottles and cloth bags to replace plastic bags to local people...
