NTO - The Central Emulation and Reward Committee's monitoring delegation works with the Emulation Council

On December 22, the Central Emulation and Reward Committee (CEM) Supervisory Delegation had a working session with the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council on the results of the implementation of the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" in the period 2021-2025.

After more than 2 years of implementing the poverty reduction program and the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind", the work of sustainable poverty reduction in the province has been implemented drastically, synchronously and effectively by all levels, sectors and localities. The "For the poor" Fund Mobilization Committee at all levels has mobilized over 39.2 billion VND to support the repair and construction of solidarity houses, support the purchase of health insurance cards, loans for production...; The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province coordinated to receive from organizations, agencies, units, enterprises and individuals inside and outside the province 70,909 gifts with a total amount of over 22.7 billion VND for poor households, near-poor households and policy households. Thereby, contributing to reducing the poverty rate from 7.82% in 2021 to 5.93% in 2022 and to 4.21% in 2023.

At the meeting, the representative of the Central Economic Committee's Supervisory Delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved in implementing the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" in the province. Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the delegation requested the Provincial Economic Committee to pay more attention to, promote and innovate the emulation movement; strengthen propaganda and mobilization work to raise people's awareness in striving to escape poverty sustainably...

* On the same day, the Central Emulation and Reward Board's Supervisory Delegation visited and surveyed the green asparagus growing model of Tuan Tu General Service Cooperative in An Hai commune (Ninh Phuoc).

Visiting the sustainable poverty reduction model supporting green asparagus value chain production of Tuan Tu General Service Cooperative, the representative of the Central Emulation and Reward Board's Supervisory Delegation highly appreciated the effectiveness of the green asparagus growing model in the direction of linkage in production, not only creating stable income for members but also creating regular jobs for local people, helping poor households develop the economy and increase income. This is a sustainable direction that the province and locality need to replicate in the coming time to help poor households have the conditions to escape poverty sustainably.

* Previously, the Central Steering Committee for Poverty Reduction's monitoring delegation visited and surveyed the sustainable poverty reduction model supporting production according to the aloe vera value chain in Xom Bang village, Bac Son commune (Thuan Bac).
