On December 30, the Final Round of the Quang Ninh Cultural Brand Ambassador Selection Contest took place at the Quang Ninh Provincial Library. The contest was organized by the Department of Culture and Sports of Quang Ninh to find a cultural brand ambassador to promote the cultural values, people, and tourism of the province.
Taking place for nearly a month, the contest has attracted the attention of many contestants of various ages, coming from units and organizations in the province. In the preliminary round held on December 20, each contestant created a video clip, lasting from 3-5 minutes, introducing themselves and their knowledge about Quang Ninh. The 10 best contestants were selected to participate in the Final round.
In the Final Round, the contestants competed directly on stage with 3 parts: Greeting, Talent and Cultural Brand Ambassador, thereby demonstrating diverse talents from singing, dancing, acting... to deep understanding of Quang Ninh culture. The contestants invested elaborately in costumes, props, stage and impressive illustrative clips for their entries.
In particular, in the Cultural Brand Ambassador contest, within a maximum of 10 minutes, the contestants presented their presentations, expressing their passion and personal understanding of Quang Ninh's unique culture; proposed feasible solutions and initiatives to develop Quang Ninh's culture and people into an endogenous resource for rapid and sustainable development; and conveyed meaningful messages to the domestic and international community about Quang Ninh's culture and people.
The contest aims to promote and widely disseminate cultural values and people rich in Quang Ninh identity, thereby contributing to raising awareness of building and promoting cultural values and human strength of Quang Ninh to become an endogenous resource, a driving force for rapid and sustainable development in the spirit of Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU, dated October 30, 2023 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee.
The contest also aims to select Quang Ninh Cultural Brand Ambassadors who are capable of inspiring and promoting the image and typical cultural products of the province, enhancing the position of culture, people, and tourism of Quang Ninh to domestic and international friends; creating an image of Quang Ninh as rich in cultural traditions, modern, dynamic, creative and at the same time an ideal destination for domestic and foreign tourists; attracting and promoting investment activities, developing infrastructure for culture, tourism, and services in Quang Ninh.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 Cultural Brand Ambassador prize, 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 3 consolation prizes and 5 thematic prizes to the contestants. The title of Quang Ninh Cultural Brand Ambassador went to contestant Pham Thi Dan Chi from Uong Bi City. The first prize went to contestant Vu Thi Huyen (Cam Pha City).
