On the afternoon of November 15, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province held a seminar on "Promoting the role of the people in building, preserving and developing the culture and people rich in Quang Ninh's identity". Attending the seminar were comrade Nguyen Van Hoi, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province.
The seminar was attended by cultural researchers, lecturers from Ha Long University, artisans, prestigious people among ethnic minorities, representatives of some localities, units and students from the provincial Ethnic Boarding High School.
The opinions discussed at the seminar all agreed that, in the past nearly a year, since Resolution 17 of the Provincial Party Committee "On building and promoting cultural values, human strength of Quang Ninh to become an endogenous resource, a driving force for rapid and sustainable development" was widely implemented, it has helped mobilize enormous resources, attention, and strong participation of the political system at all levels and the majority of people.
Particularly from the beginning of 2024 to now, the whole province has held more than 20 competitions, exhibitions, displays, performances, and announcements of literary and artistic works about the culture and people of Quang Ninh; more than 100 art performances to serve the people; organized and implemented regulations on awarding the titles of "Cultural Family", "Cultural Village, Group", "Typical Commune, Ward, Town". Traditional festivals, cultural and sports festivals of ethnic groups, Carnival, international cultural and sports events... not only enliven and enrich the spiritual life of the people, but also contribute positively to promoting tourism and socio-economic development. At the same time, the Code of Conduct in the province; Project on Developing Literature and Arts to 2030; Policy on encouraging creative artists... are being promoted, continued to be reviewed, built, and perfected. Thanks to the above specific and practical action plans and programs, cadres, party members and people in the whole province are increasingly aware of the responsibility of each individual in participating in building, preserving, conserving and promoting the cultural values and people rich in Quang Ninh identity, and at the same time are also the beneficiaries of the achievements of that development.
Concluding the discussion, comrade Nguyen Van Hoi, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, emphasized: The results achieved by the whole province up to this point do not stop at theoretical solutions, but also strongly demonstrate the aspiration of the whole community in joining hands and contributing to building a Quang Ninh rich in identity, modern, and sustainable development. The consensus and solidarity of the people is a valuable resource, the strongest endogenous resource for the long-term development of the province.
In the coming time, the Fatherland Front at all levels will continue to promote its role in supervising the implementation of cultural policies and cultural projects of the province and localities; organize community activities to raise people's awareness, helping them better understand the role of the subject in building and protecting local culture; coordinate with cultural management agencies to propose measures to encourage folk artisans, prestigious people, and cultural models in the community to share experiences and impart knowledge about traditional culture; step up propaganda so that people can actively implement the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas"...
