After defeating defending champion Elena Rybakina in the quarterfinals, Ons Jabeur faced world number two Aryna Sabalenka in the 2023 Wimbledon semi-finals. Jabeur continued to demonstrate commendable mettle against a stronger opponent.

In the first set, the two players took each other to a tie-break. Sabalenka's good physical condition and ability to seize opportunities helped her win 7-5 in this series.

But in set 2, Ons Jabeur won with great confidence. Jabeur broke game 10, directly deciding the result and winning 6-4. Tied 1-1, Jabeur and Sabalenka took each other to the deciding set 3.

Sabalenka quickly lost her physical strength and was constantly behind her opponent. Therefore, Tunisian player Ons Jabeur won 7-6, 6-4, 6-3 to advance to the 2023 Wimbledon final.

This is the second time in his career that Ons Jabeur has reached the Wimbledon final. In the 2022 Wimbledon final, Jabeur lost to Rybakina. This year, the WTA No. 6 player successfully took revenge on his Kazakh opponent in the quarterfinals.

Ons Jabeur will face Marketa Vondrousova in the 2023 Wimbledon final on the evening of July 15. The Czech player also easily defeated Elina Svitolina (Ukraine) yesterday (July 13) after two sets with the same score of 6-3.
