According to research by Dr. Ben Rosin in the Journal of Physical Medicine and Sports ( USA ) , people who run marathons regularly will live 19 years longer on average than people of the same age who do not play this sport. In addition to physical benefits such as weight loss, maintaining flexibility, protecting the heart and joints as well as increasing resistance, running also helps people reduce stress and effectively balance their minds. That is why most marathons are often organized for both professional and amateur athletes and are now becoming a movement and living culture of modern people.

In fact, semi-professional marathons have been widely organized in recent times in many cities such as Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, attracting the attention of the community. In addition to the competitions or programs organized separately, running activities have become a strongly developing movement in large cities with conditions to meet the requirements of landscape and running routes.

Ocean City - 10 point marathon route
In Hanoi, the “destination city” Ocean City (including 3 urban areas Vinhomes Ocean Park 1-2-3) has been “word of mouth” among the runner community as an ideal running space with beautiful marathon routes filled with trees. This place has a total area of 1,200 hectares but the construction density is only less than 30%, not to mention the green water surface area of more than 1.5 million m2.
Wide, open roads, limited stopping and parking, and neat sidewalks are the factors that make this place a "10-point" running location. Runners can start from the square area, welcome the sunrise on the spacious roads, the artificial beach, see VinUni University, Whale Square, Hai Au Street with European-style shophouses and end the run near the apartment buildings.
The community of residents in Ocean City has therefore quickly formed running groups, typically the Vinhomes Ocean Park Runner group which attracts more than 2,200 members with the same interests, creating a new civilized living culture in the urban area.
Running is one of the hottest group sports besides football, volleyball, etc., attracting a large community of people from old to young to participate in Ocean City. Residents living here often share on groups about their running hobby such as "Is there anyone in my area participating in the running race? Let's form a running team to get motivated" or "It's not just running, but more than that. I was destined to come to Ocean City, and I've been participating in the marathon for more than 2 years. Today, I'm giving it my all."
Marathons in Ocean City are always organized with a methodical route, professional plans and many attractive prizes. Hundreds of runners participating are given BIBs (race registration numbers), shirts as well as health support gifts. They can choose a route from 3km, 5km - a suitable distance for amateur runners, to conquer a journey of tens of kilometers.

Ocean City Management Board is also very "indulgent" to residents by regularly organizing running races throughout the year. On the occasion of the April 30 - May 1 holiday, the Run4Green 2023 race organized by Vinhomes and implemented by VRace took place at Kinh Do Anh Sang Square, "District 2" Ocean City. With the message "Strong in mind - Healthy in strength", the race attracted the participation of more than 500 Ocean City residents.
Coming up next is the Vinhomes Ocean Park Ekiden 2023 season 2 race. This is a relay race for amateur athletes in Hanoi and neighboring provinces organized by the Vinhomes Ocean Park Runners Club, calling on 60,000 residents to participate and connect.
With the growing interest of the community in physical training in general and marathon in particular, Ocean City promises to become a space for both healthy living and the most ideal marathon route for those who love sports. This is also an important factor for Ocean City to continue to attract a wave of modern families moving to the East to upgrade their quality of life.
