The complex rain and floods led to landslides on many traffic routes, 58 households suffered property damage due to landslides, 2 households in Duc Huong commune were affected by flash floods. Many areas of winter corn, vegetables, fish ponds, and intra-field canals in the district were damaged by floodwaters.
Flooding is also occurring in 200 households in Can Loc district. In addition, many traffic works, roads, fences, aquaculture areas, and internal canals in the locality are affected by floods.
Households in Can Loc district had their houses flooded.
Heavy rain also caused damage to roads and infrastructure in other localities such as Cam Xuyen, Thach Ha, Ky Anh town and Hong Linh town.
According to the forecast from the Ha Tinh Hydrometeorological Station, from the evening of October 31, the rain will basically stop in the province, and floodwaters will gradually recede. From November 1, the flooding situation is likely to improve significantly.
