Therefore, the Co May dormitory board decided to accept student Hang and sponsor all tuition, accommodation, living expenses, skill training, etc. so that this female national karate champion can worry less about tuition fees and study at university with peace of mind," Mr. Huy shared.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao - Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics - also said that, through the introduction of Tuoi Tre newspaper, Nguyen Do Nhu Hang has won the scholarship "UEH Alumni Course 26 - Wings of Dreams" in 2024.

This scholarship has just been launched, worth 15 million VND/scholarship. The school plans to hold a scholarship award ceremony on November 30.

“UEH always creates conditions and is ready to support students with difficult circumstances, so that no student has to drop out of school or be affected in their studies because they have to worry about making a living. The Student Care Board of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics will accompany and support Hang during her studies at UEH,” Mr. Bao affirmed.

115 new students were selected to enter Co May dormitory

With the admission of new student Nguyen Do Nhu Hang, this year there are 115 new students selected to enter Co May dormitory. Students admitted to Co May dormitory are supported with free meals and accommodation at the dormitory and are also subsidized for full tuition in the first semester and are subsidized for additional foreign language, computer science and soft skills classes...

“Over the years, I have used the nutrition money from being an athlete in the Binh Thuan province karate team to pay for my tuition and other living expenses. But now the university tuition is too high. I also do not have financial support from my family, so I am afraid that I will not be able to continue to fulfill my dream of going to university.

Previously, on the evening of November 17, Nguyen Do Nhu Hang was awarded the "Tiep suc den truong" scholarship, worth 15 million VND. At the same time, Hang is also one of 13 new students with difficulties from 7 provinces and cities in the Southeast region to receive a laptop from the Vinacam Scholarship Fund - Vinacam Group Joint Stock Company to have learning equipment.
