The female guard officer said that at the end of 2015, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping and his wife, Mrs. Peng Liyuan, made an official visit to Vietnam. At that time, Major Nhung was assigned to protect Mrs. Peng Liyuan. "At that time, because of my duty, I had to get close to the lady, keeping a certain distance. Even guards from other countries did not walk next to the lady like that. After a few activities, they said they were very confident with Vietnam's security forces," said Major Dang Hong Nhung.

Before taking on the important task, Major Nhung had done some research and learned that Madam Peng Liyuan was an artist and could speak English. After the welcoming ceremony at the airport, when returning to the group's accommodation, only Major Nhung and Madam Peng Liyuan were in the car. At this time, the female guard spoke in English, asking Madam what the scenery in Hanoi was like. Madam asked Major Nhung to teach her a few Vietnamese sentences like "hello" and "thank you Nhung". "Because I also knew a little Chinese, I greeted Madam in Chinese. She asked, "Can you speak Chinese?" I replied that I could, but very little," Major Dang Hong Nhung recalled.

Sharing more about her security work, Major Dang Hong Nhung said: Her task is to protect foreign female politicians, including their wives. When a security officer receives a mission, the unit will disseminate information about the protected person. In addition, Major Nhung often goes online to find out the face, age and height of the person she is protecting. This female security guard also learns about their social activities, which can be activities related to children, health, education, etc. Are they politicians or just doing purely professional work such as doctors, teachers, etc. to have appropriate behavior and communication. "I meet many wives who do purely professional work, when they come to Vietnam, they often learn about similar jobs in Vietnam and I prepare information in advance to exchange," said Major Nhung. "My experience shows that when delegations come to Vietnam, I introduce that Vietnam's security will protect them, and after just 1-2 activities, they trust me a lot. They will respect my personal opinions. Vietnam is a peaceful country, and female security officers also represent Vietnamese female police, so I have to make them feel very friendly and completely secure when they visit," Major Dang Hong Nhung shared.
