Sharing about the implementation of the "School Stage Project" in Ho Chi Minh City, Meritorious Artist Phuong Hong Thuy said that when students watch literary performances adapted to the stage, they see a whole literary and historical space... recreated before their eyes.
"This activity brings students a pure, healthy, optimistic spiritual life to study, absorb better and cultivate the inner world, personality, lifestyle, aspirations and ambitions of youth according to the tradition of their ancestors. I am very happy to attend this meaningful program during my visit to my homeland" - Meritorious Artist Phuong Hong Thuy said.
The choir "The City I Love" opened the School Stage program at Nguyen Du Secondary School.
Artist Ngoc Trang (Lac Long Quan Stage) shared that at first, schools were quite hesitant, not knowing whether it was appropriate to bring the dramatization of literary works into the school. However, in reality, students really liked it and interacted very enthusiastically. After watching the play "The Story of Miss Hen's House", many students who loved the characters from the folk tale boldly stepped onto the stage to interact...
"Therefore, the development of the "School Stage Project" implemented by the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City is a very meaningful and practical activity in educating and preserving traditional values of the nation, contributing an effective method for teaching literature and history to students" - artist Ngoc Trang expressed.

Through that, the artists have brought to the student audience new experiences from expression, musical language to acting on stage. All have created a vibrant stage, attracting student audiences with a love for Vietnamese literature and history.
Screenwriter Pham Thi Ngoc Bich - who wrote the script for "The Story of Miss Hen's House" said: "The project "School Stage" is not just a play, but it is a learning project, approaching art so that students love the stage more, love and understand Vietnamese history".

As part of the "School Theater" project, Lac Long Quan Theater has existed for 12 years, organizing a series of art programs serving the audience of students in Ho Chi Minh City and Thu Duc City.
Meritorious Artist Phuong Hong Thuy confided: "I hope that the "School Stage" program in Ho Chi Minh City will continue to be invested in to have more works of Vietnamese history, literature, and poetry sent to students and young audiences. I will actively participate in this program to support the further development of "School Stage".
