(QNO) - Deputy Director of the Department of Transport of Quang Nam province - Mr. Le Quang Hieu has just signed a document informing about the submission of capacity documents for consideration of providing public passenger transport services (PTP) for bus route No. 21 and adjacent bus route LK21 (Da Nang - Tam Ky route); bus route No. 02 and adjacent bus route LK02 (Da Nang - Hoi An route).
The content of the document sent to bus passenger transport business units stated that, implementing Program No. 01 dated August 1, 2022 of the Standing Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee in serving the trade and travel of the people of the two localities, along with the directive documents of the People's Committee of Quang Nam Province and the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the Department of Transport of Quang Nam Province has coordinated with the Department of Transport of Da Nang City to develop and complete the connection plan and agree on the content, method, and implementing unit to organize the selection of a pilot unit to connect the two non-subsidized two-way bus routes Da Nang - Tam Ky and Da Nang - Hoi An.
Currently, the Traffic Light and Public Transport Operation Center (a unit assigned by the Department of Transport of Da Nang City) has issued Official Dispatch No. 890 dated September 28, 2023 on inviting participation in submitting capacity documents for consideration of providing public transport services for bus routes No. 21 and adjacent bus route LK21, Official Dispatch No. 891 dated September 28, 2023 on inviting participation in submitting capacity documents for consideration of providing public transport services for bus routes No. 02 and adjacent bus route LK02.
Quang Nam Provincial Department of Transport informs transport businesses in the province of some main contents about the capacity profile for consideration of providing public transport services for bus route 21 and adjacent bus route LK21; bus route 02 and adjacent bus route LK02.
Accordingly, for the capacity profile related to bus route number 21 and adjacent bus route LK21, the scope of work is to provide public transport services for bus route number 21: Central bus station - 29/3 Park - Southern bus station and adjacent bus route LK21: Da Nang (Southern bus station) - Tam Ky.
Selection organization: Traffic Signal and Public Transport Operation Center. Contract implementation period is 5 years from the date of signing the contract, plus 40 days for providing vehicles.
For the capacity profile related to bus route 02 and adjacent bus route LK02, the scope of work is to provide public transport services for bus route 02: Central bus station - Vietnam - Korea University and adjacent bus route LK02: Da Nang (Vietnam - Korea University) - Hoi An (Cua Dai).
The selection organization is the Traffic Signal and Public Transport Operation Center. The contract implementation period is 5 years from the date of signing the contract, plus 40 days for providing vehicles.
Interested transport units are requested to contact the Transport Control and Supervision Department (Traffic Signal and Public Transport Operation Center) during office hours from December 28, 2023 to before 8:00 a.m. on January 16, 2024 to receive the invitation to participate.
Individuals must provide a letter of introduction from the transport unit when receiving the application. The transport unit prepares and submits the capacity profile for consideration of undertaking the route to the Traffic Signal and Public Transport Operation Center (address: 493 Tran Cao Van, Xuan Ha Ward, Thanh Khe District, Da Nang City) before 8:00 a.m. on January 16, 2023 (during office hours).
