After the accident, the authorities invited driver NQT (born in 1977, residing in Chi Lang ward, Pleiku city) to the police station for questioning. At the police station, Mr. T. showed signs of being drunk and did not present his driver's license.

Testing the alcohol concentration of driver NQT, the police determined that Mr. T. had a very high alcohol concentration, with 1.187 mg/l of breath.

Previously, at noon on March 23, Mr. NQT drove car with license plate 34LD-0027 on National Highway 14, passing through Pleiku City in the South-North direction, carrying 3 people: PTL, LTT and D.LG (all born in 1980 and residing in Pleiku City).

When arriving at house number 753 Truong Chinh street (group 2, Chi Lang ward, Pleiku city), the car suddenly drove onto the sidewalk. After breaking the traffic sign, the car continued to hit 2 trees on the side of the road before stopping.

The accident caused Mr. LTT and D.LG, who were sitting in the back seat, to be thrown out of the car and suffered traumatic brain injuries and had to be taken to Gia Lai General Hospital for emergency treatment; Mr. PTL and driver NQT only suffered minor injuries; the car was severely damaged.

The case is currently being further verified and clarified by the Investigation Police Agency of Gia Lai Province.
