On the afternoon of October 31, the Huong Khe district government and Gia Pho commune People's Committee sent a working group to overcome the flood on Ngan Pho river to burn incense, encourage and express condolences to the family.
"The flood caused the tomb to be flooded and eroded. Hopefully tomorrow the flood will recede so we can send forces to support the family in taking care of the funeral. We hope that the family of someone who died in the natural disaster and flood will soon overcome the pain. Also in Huong Khe district, on October 30, Ms. Tran Thi Trang (31 years old, residing in village 12, Ha Linh commune) and her sister-in-law went to work at a chicken farm. On the way home, both were swept away by floodwaters. Ms. Trang's body was found, but her sister-in-law was still missing. A day later, the authorities and neighbors supported the family in arranging Ms. Trang's funeral. Dien My Commune is considered the flood center of Huong Khe District. This locality currently has 1,476 households, of which 151 households are deeply submerged in water, 12 households have landslides (Photo: Van Nguyen).
