The event was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen province in Hanoi within the framework of the Vietnam International Travel Fair VITM Hanoi 2024.

The conference is a bridge to promote Tra tourism products to domestic and international tourists, connecting with partners who are domestic travel and tourism companies.

VITM Hanoi International Tourism Fair is the annual event, the biggest of the year for the Vietnamese tourism industry. This year's fair brings together 55 provinces and cities of Vietnam, 16 countries and territories registered to participate, expected to welcome over 3,500 Vietnamese and international tourism businesses to work, about 80,000 visitors in 4 days.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Province Tourism Association shared 4 typical tourism products of the province: cultural - historical tourism, eco-resort tourism, rural community tourism associated with tea culture, mice - sports - adventure route exploration tourism.

These four product lines, when included in the design of 1-day and 2-day tour programs, will combine different types together, giving tourists many diverse experiences.

Opening the discussion, Mr. Ta Huu Chien - Director of Vietnam Sun Joint Stock Company assessed that Thai Nguyen has many advantages to develop tourism. Thai Nguyen has been successful in choosing the tourism brand positioning - that is the land of Tea.

Taking the center of visitors from Hanoi as the target market, tourism has brought Thai Nguyen closer to Hanoi. Along with that, the human factor is the key when Thai Nguyen tourism workers have been open to receiving opinions from travel agencies to connect and bring visitors to the land of Tra.
