Word on the interior, profit on the engine
“The car accelerates quickly, the driving feeling is sporty, compared to gasoline cars in the same segment, it is much better,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Chau (Bac Ninh) about his superior experience on the VF 7 compared to the gasoline cars he has driven.
Mr. Nguyen Van Chau is impressed with the engine of the VF 7 Plus, which is much more powerful than a gasoline car.
The experience far surpasses gasoline vehicles is also the affirmation of many electric vehicle owners after a period of use. This is easy to explain because electric vehicle models are often equipped with engines with more powerful capacity and much greater torque than gasoline vehicle competitors. Combined with the ability to achieve maximum traction instantly, electric vehicles accelerate extremely quickly and have almost no delay, providing an exciting driving experience, smooth operation, and easily conquering many types of terrain.
For comparison, in the same C segment, VinFast's VF 7 Plus model has a maximum capacity of up to 349 horsepower, maximum torque of 500 Nm, twice as high as its gasoline competitors and equivalent to many sports cars that cost several times more. Specifically, the VF 7 Plus's 500 Nm pulling power is equivalent to the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S 4Matic+, while the rolling price is only 1/3.
"Once you use an electric car, you definitely won't want to go back to a gasoline car," said Mr. Phuc Le (HCMC), owner of a VF e34.
According to Mr. Phuc Le, not only do electric car users benefit greatly from engine power, they also benefit greatly from interior space. Thanks to the simple engine and transmission structure, plus the battery pack being placed under the floor, the wheelbase of electric cars is always longer than that of gasoline cars in the same segment, even with the same external dimensions.
Mr. Phuc Le cited that the wheelbase of the VF 6 is up to 2,730 mm, the largest compared to B-SUVs, even on par with C-SUV gasoline cars.
“Normally, A or B-class gasoline cars are quite cramped, but electric cars are very spacious, providing a comfortable feeling for people sitting in both rows of seats with larger storage space, fully meeting the needs of the whole family for long trips,” said the owner of the VF e34.
Outstanding safety and smart features
Meanwhile, Mr. Trong Thang (Hanoi) assessed that the outstanding strength of electric vehicles compared to traditional gasoline vehicles is that they possess a high concentration of technology, including ADAS features and smart utilities (Smart Service), making driving safer, more relaxing and more enjoyable.
Depending on the segment, VinFast will equip different technologies, but in general, they all have advanced features that are difficult to find on gasoline cars, such as: adaptive cruise control, automatic front emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot warning, door opening warning, parking assistance, 360 camera... In particular, the two models VF 8 and VF 9 also possess level 2 ADAS features, usually only found in luxury cars, such as: highway driving assistance, traffic jam assistance...
Another plus point of Vietnamese electric vehicles that Mr. Thang and many users appreciate is the smart features, such as automatic rescue calls in case of accidents and calling for roadside assistance services. Along with that, the voice-controlled VinFast virtual assistant helps the driver easily adjust heating, air conditioning, sound... without losing focus.
According to Mr. Thang, smart services such as office, shopping and entertainment also make VinFast electric cars not only a means of transportation but also a mobile office or home. On each journey, users can continuously connect with the world and work safely and effectively as well as entertain and relax completely anytime, anywhere.
“Electric vehicles in particular get better as they drive because smart features are regularly added and upgraded through free software updates. Meanwhile, with gasoline vehicles, to experience new features, users are forced to modify them, which is both costly and does not ensure vehicle safety,” Mr. Thang compared.
Relaxed about costs, peace of mind about after-sales service
Electric cars also score points with users when they are given a 100% discount on registration fees, helping the rolling price to be almost equal to the listed price. Meanwhile, with gasoline cars in the same segment, users will have to pay tens, even hundreds of millions of dong more to get the car on the road.
Electric vehicle users are also very relaxed when the cost of "car maintenance" is much lower than that of gasoline vehicles. For example, VF 8 users only have to pay more than 1,600 VND/km (including the cost of charging and battery rental); while with gasoline vehicles, this cost is up to 2,900 VND/km. In addition, electric vehicles also save users up to 50% on regular maintenance costs thanks to the simple structure of the engine.
Mr. Truong Thanh affirmed that "in terms of after-sales care, if VinFast is number 2, no one is number 1", bringing maximum peace of mind to electric vehicle users.
Long-term peace of mind is also a privilege for electric vehicle users when VinFast has the longest warranty policy on the market, up to 10 years, or 200,000 km (for VF e34, VF 7, VF 8, VF 9 models) or 7 years or 160,000 km (for VF 5 and VF 6). Meanwhile, gasoline models are usually warranted for 3 years or 100,000 km. Along with that are VinFast's exclusive services, such as 24/7 rescue, mobile repair (Mobile Service), 24/7 mobile battery charging (Mobile Charging), commitment to buyback price after 5 years of use...
"Regarding after-sales care in Vietnam, if VinFast is number 2, no one is number 1," Mr. Truong Thanh (Hanoi), owner of VF 8, affirmed.
With outstanding advantages that cannot be found in traditional gasoline vehicles, combined with attractive incentive policies of VinFast, electric vehicles are increasingly gaining ground and becoming the top choice of civilized and progressive consumers.
