After 2 days of competition, the 2024 Traditional Sports Festival of the Information and Communications Industry has come to an end. Although it only lasted for a short time, the fierce competition and enthusiastic cheering of the fans proved the success of the Sports Festival.
In badminton, the first prize in men's doubles badminton went to the Department of Information and Communications of Dien Bien province, the second prize went to the Military Bank (MBBank), while athletes from the Vietnam Post Corporation (VNPost) and the Department of Information and Communications of Phu Tho shared the third prize.
The first prize in women's doubles badminton went to the Department of Information and Communications of Bac Ninh province, the second prize went to the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), the third prize went to the Department of Information and Communications of Hoa Binh province and the Military Industry and Telecommunications Group (Viettel).
In the men's and women's doubles badminton event, the first prize went to VNPT, the second prize went to Misa Joint Stock Company, and the players from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) and the Department of Information and Communications of Son La province won the third prize.
In tennis, the first prize for men went to the host athletes Viettel, the second prize went to Hanoi Telecom, while the two teams VNPost and VNPT tied for third place. The first prize for women went to VNPT, the second prize went to PTIT.
In the table tennis category, in the men's doubles category, first prize went to Viettel, second prize went to the Department of Information and Communications of Bac Ninh province, and third prize went to the two teams VNPT and VNPost.
In the women's doubles category, first prize went to the Department of Information and Communications of Ha Nam province, second prize went to the Telecommunications Department's building alliance, Viettel and VNPT shared third prize.
In the sack jumping category, Viettel won first prize, second prize went to VTC Multimedia Corporation, third prize went to the Department of Information and Communications of Dien Bien province and VNPost.
In the tug of war event, the first prize went to Viettel, the second prize went to the Department of Information and Communications of Dien Bien province, the third prize went to the Department of Information and Communications of Bac Ninh province and MobiFone Corporation.
In the cross-country event, the first prize for men went to athlete Trinh Quang Trung (MobiFone), the second prize went to athlete Duong Van Cuong (Viettel), and athlete Nguyen Huu Manh from Vietnam Television (VTV) won the third prize.
The first prize in the women's cross-country race went to athlete Tran Thu Trang of Vietnam News Agency. Second prize went to athlete Nguyen Thu May (MBBank), and athlete Nguyen Thi Trang (Viettel) won third prize.
With mini football, the king sport that attracted the most attention, the championship belonged to FPT Corporation, VNPost team won the second place, Dien Bien Department of Information and Communications and Vietnam Payment Solution Joint Stock Company (VNPay) were in third place. Player Duong Xuan Phong (VNPay) won the title of Top Scorer.
According to statistics from the Organizing Committee, MobiFone (1 gold medal, 1 silver medal and 2 bronze medals) won the third prize overall. The second prize overall went to VNPT (3 gold, 1 silver, 4 bronze). The host team Viettel (5 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze) won the first prize overall. This is also the sports team that won the first prize at the 2023 Sports Festival.
The traditional sports festival of the Information and Communications sector is a useful and healthy playground, creating conditions for athletes to exchange, learn, practice health, improve physical strength, increase flexibility and endurance, spread the spirit of health to build the Fatherland, promote the movement of physical training, contribute to improving labor productivity and work efficiency.
Through the activities at the Sports Festival, the Organizing Committee hopes that this event will be an opportunity for civil servants, public employees and workers in the Information and Communications sector to look back on the past, share valuable experiences, encourage each other to overcome difficulties and challenges in order to successfully complete assigned tasks, contributing to building an increasingly strong Information and Communications sector.

Opening of the 2024 Traditional Sports Festival of the Information and Communications Industry The 2024 Traditional Sports Festival of the Information and Communications Industry in the Northern Region has just opened at Viettel Academy (Thach That, Hanoi), attracting more than 800 athletes who are civil servants, public employees, and workers in the Information and Communications Industry.
