On the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, the Vietnam Women's Museum organized the event "The happy driver" to receive artifacts of teacher and writer Nguyen Thi My Dung, an event to express gratitude to teachers in Vietnam in general and teacher Nguyen Thi Dung in particular.
At the ceremony, the Vietnam Women's Museum was honored to receive nearly 300 documents and artifacts including images, artifacts, some typical publications and especially a collection of more than 200 letters containing extremely precious love between husband and wife, family and teacher-student relationships.
With 32 years of teaching experience, with her talent and dedication, many generations of her students have grown up, made many contributions to the country, many of them hold high positions in society. Colleagueship and teacher-student relationships are sacred in the mind of Ms. Nguyen Thi My Dung.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet - Director of the Vietnam Women's Museum and Mr. Ngo Duy Ung - Deputy Director of the Museum presented the Certificate to Ms. Nguyen Thi My Dung.
The artifacts are evidence of her efforts to overcome difficulties to devote herself to the "career of cultivating people" as well as achieving success in the fields of journalism, poetry and story writing. In addition to historical and cultural topics, the Vietnam Women's Museum also hopes that each artifact that stops here will tell interesting stories and bring a multi-dimensional perspective on women.
With emotion and happiness, Ms. Nguyen Thi My Dung shared that the Women's Museum is a beloved address that she has been attached to for many years. "Human life is limited, I hope that my spiritual children are kept here, will be displayed, cared for, preserved by the museum, and will be useful to life for a longer time," Ms. Nguyen Thi My Dung said.
Ms. Nguyen Thi My Dung is always full of energy with the desire to contribute a lot to society and the country.
Teacher Nguyen Thi My Dung said that her life has two stages, "holding chalk" and "holding pen". These two stages are coincidentally but extremely closely linked. Her students have helped her have the opportunity to approach famous names to write about the portraits of talented people in Vietnam.
"I am very grateful to my students. Thanks to them, I was able to meet and write portraits of famous people who contributed a lot to the cause of protecting and building the country. They are the outstanding diplomat Nguyen Co Thach, People's Artist of Ca Tru Quach Thi Ho...", Ms. Nguyen Thi My Dung expressed.
Also because of her teaching career, her students supported Ms. Nguyen Thi My Dung to have a national exhibition, the "Following the General's Footsteps" Exhibition with 110 poems, translated into English and hundreds of documentary photos. This exhibition has been held in many places, and will be brought to many more places...

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet - Director of the Vietnam Women's Museum said that the approach to collections related to family life and social activities of Vietnamese women in various fields has received special attention from the Women's Museum in recent years.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet sent her sincere thanks to teacher and writer Nguyen Thi My Dung for understanding the Museum's activities, with trust and love. "On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, Ms. My Dung donated her priceless relics to the Vietnam Women's Museum to spread her spirit, enthusiasm in work, and efforts to overcome difficulties in life to the public through the Museum's professional activities in the future," Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet shared.
At the ceremony, many generations of students also expressed their love and deep respect for teacher Nguyen Thi My Dung. Many stories and memories were shared by teachers and students with joy and boundless gratitude.

Teacher Nguyen Thi My Dung was born in 1939 in Duc Tho, Ha Tinh. In 1961, after graduating from the Faculty of Literature at Vinh Pedagogical University, she taught at Hai Hau High School (Nam Dinh); Nguyen Trai, Doan Ket (Hanoi). In 1993, she retired. She had devoted 32 years to the education career. After retirement, she devoted herself entirely to her "writing" career.
