The collection of 25 best photos selected from more than 3,000 photos of the Milky Way taken from 16 countries around the world, including the US, Australia, Madagascar, Switzerland, Japan... posted on the photography website Capture The Atlas makes viewers feel as if they are lost in ancient times.
The photo is called The Gate of the Pitcher Tree . Pitcher trees are unique trees with trunks that resemble giant pitchers. "Nights on the mystical island of Socotra, Yemen, are unforgettable, especially under the cover of the most beautiful and strange-looking trees I have ever seen. The gnarled and twisted trunks seem to tell stories of ancient times while the blooming pink flowers add to the ethereal beauty...", the author said.
