Tran Hung Dao Bridge is located between Chuong Duong Bridge and Vinh Tuy Bridge. On the city center side, the foot of the bridge is expected to be at the intersection of Tran Hung Dao - Tran Thanh Tong Street. On the Long Bien side, the end point is at the intersection with National Highway 5A (Nguyen Van Linh Street). |

According to the project implementation unit, the total land area for the project is about 75.5 hectares. The bridge is built permanently with a scale of 6 lanes for motor vehicles, 2 lanes for bicycles, 2 lanes for pedestrians, and a design speed of 80km/h. |

The branch bridges in the intersection are 7 to 9m wide. The intersections on the route that have been fully invested and constructed include: the intersection in Hoan Kiem district (intersection with Huu Hong and Tran Hung Dao dykes), the intersection with Co Linh street, the intersection with Nguyen Son street and the intersection with Nguyen Van Linh street. |

The architectural design coded THD12 was awarded First Prize with the idea of creating a new symbolic bridge of the center of Hanoi, with the main arch structure being 2 intersecting curves repeating 6 spans to create an infinity image. This is also the design chosen for investment and construction. |

The project connecting the city center (Hoan Kiem district) to Long Bien district, was approved by the Hanoi People's Committee for the main arch architectural design plan of 2 intersecting curves repeating 6 spans to create an infinity image. The design was carried out by the consortium of NIWA Architecture Co., Ltd. - Chodai & Kiso-Jiban Vietnam Co., Ltd. - Chodai Co., Ltd. - NH Village Architectural Design Co., Ltd., achieving the highest score among the plans participating in the architectural competition of the bridge. |
