The program aims to support the poor with housing, expenses and essential living items, helping them to improve their lives. Through this, it attracts more kind-hearted people to continue participating in social security work in the province.
At the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented 28 "Red Cross" houses to families with housing difficulties, each worth 80 million VND. Of these, 25 houses were sponsored by businesses.
On this occasion, the Provincial Red Cross Association launched the Red Cross Activity Fund and donated support money from the province's charity app to 12 disadvantaged households with a total amount of nearly 60 million VND.
In particular, 350 disadvantaged families of Binh Long town were awarded vouchers by the Organizing Committee to participate in free shopping for essential necessities at the 0-dong market with a value of 500,000 VND.
After 6 years of implementing the Humanitarian Month initiated by the Vietnam Red Cross Society, Binh Phuoc has mobilized resources to build and donate 177 "Red Cross" houses, assisting over 96,000 vulnerable people, with a total value of over 40 billion VND.
