Speaking at the 2nd Conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province, term XI, summarizing the Front's work in 2024, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province Le Thanh Viet emphasized that the tasks of the Front's work in the new term require increasingly high requirements, requiring creativity and innovation.

On the morning of January 3, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province, term XI, held the second conference to summarize the Front's work in 2024 and deploy the program of coordination and unified action in 2025.

The conference agreed to evaluate the results of the Front's work in 2024 and discussed and agreed on a number of key contents of the 2025 Coordination and Unified Action Program. At the conference, the Kien Giang Provincial People's Council announced a number of activities of the Provincial People's Council in 2024 and the work program in 2025.

Speaking at the Conference, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province Le Thanh Viet said that 2025 has a particularly important meaning, the entire Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels in the province is looking towards Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

To ensure both the progress of the Front's work and responsible participation in the preparation for the organization of Party Congresses at all levels, Mr. Le Thanh Viet requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, the Advisory Councils, and member organizations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to focus on thoroughly grasping and seriously implementing Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the 13th Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

In addition, it is necessary to promptly grasp the situation of the people and public opinion, improve the quality of reports on the situation of the people, and promptly reflect the situation of the people to the Party Committee. Maintain and improve the quality of self-management models in residential communities. Focus on improving the quality of activities of the Front Work Committee.

Mr. Le Thanh Viet also requested to promote the role of the Front, its member organizations, and Advisory Councils in organizing patriotic emulation movements and campaigns associated with the implementation of socio-economic development tasks and improving the quality of social supervision and criticism, especially social criticism activities.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 units ranked first in the cluster, and 6 units ranked second in the cluster for their excellent performance in 2024. At the same time, he awarded Certificates of Merit to 11 collectives and 23 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the national target program on building new rural areas and civilized urban areas and the Campaign "building new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in 2024.

At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives with outstanding achievements in supporting people in the Northern provinces affected by storm No. 3.
