The results are compiled from over 360 million authentic reviews, recognizing regions and partners with outstanding service quality, contributing to improving the global travel experience.

Kien Giang - the only representative in Asia
According to Mr. Varun Grover, Country Director of Booking.com Vietnam, among 1.71 million partners in 212 countries, Kien Giang stands out with its impressive recovery rate. In the first quarter of 2025, the province welcomed more than 3.1 million visitors (up 13.7%), bringing in more than 13,000 billion VND in revenue, equivalent to nearly 509 million USD - nearly half of the annual target.
Phu Quoc alone welcomed more than 2 million visitors, including 474,468 international visitors – an increase of 66.5%. In January & February 2025 alone, Phu Quoc welcomed 1.4 million visitors (of which 320,888 were international visitors) – an increase of 52.7% over last year.
Phu Quoc - the pearl island of Vietnam, continues to play the leading role in tourism development for the whole province when recording more than 2 million visitors, of which nearly 475,000 were international visitors in the first quarter of 2025.
Phu Quoc welcomed more than 2 million visitors, including more than 474,000 international visitors, an increase of 66.5% in just the first 3 months of this year.

Tourists come here not only to immerse themselves in the clear waters of Bai Sao, walk on the smooth white sand of Bai Dai, or watch the brilliant sunset at Mui Dinh Cau, but also to enjoy fresh seafood, visit the ancient fishing village of Ham Ninh, explore cultural relics such as Ho Quoc Pagoda, or experience the primeval forest ecosystem at Phu Quoc National Park.

In the first 3 months of this year, Kien Giang welcomed more than 3.1 million visitors, up 13.7% over the same period last year. Tourism revenue also increased sharply, reaching more than 13,000 billion VND, equivalent to more than 500 million USD - nearly half of the year's target. Phu Quoc alone welcomed more than 2 million visitors, including more than 474,000 international visitors, up 66.5%.
This award is a motivation for Kien Giang to continue upgrading infrastructure, diversifying products and improving the quality of tourism services.
"Kien Giang's success proves that the dream of becoming a top destination in Asia is feasible. With 328 tourism projects worth more than VND380,000 billion, Kien Giang is creating jobs, opportunities, and leading in sustainable tourism practices with up to 77% of domestic tourists interested in eco-friendly tourism by 2025," said Mr. Varun Grover.
Also within the framework of the Traveller Review Awards 2025, the top 5 most hospitable regions in Vietnam include: Kien Giang, Ninh Binh, Quang Nam, Ha Giang, Lao Cai - localities that stand out for their majestic nature and hospitality.
Top 10 friendliest cities in Vietnam include: Hoi An, Ninh Binh, Ha Giang, Phong Nha, Con Dao, Cao Bang, Phu Quoc, Cat Ba, Sapa, Ha Long.
