Sending a question to the Thanh Nien Newspaper editorial office, a reader wrote: "I want to ask, my child has passed the early admission exam with his/her transcript to Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport and has gone to the school to complete the admission procedures. But currently, the Ministry of Education and Training's system does not show any data to confirm online admission. So what should I do to complete the confirmation on time and be officially admitted in the first round?"

Answering this concern, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Head of Training Department of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, said that this is an issue that occurs every year. After candidates complete the admission procedures, the school will review the list of new students to update and supplement the data on the Ministry of Education and Training's system before December 31 every year. Therefore, candidates who have confirmed their enrollment and have been provided with a learning account by the school are certain to be admitted to the school.

Adding more information, the head of the training department of another university in Ho Chi Minh City also said that after the first round, universities reported to the Ministry of Education and Training the list of successful candidates and those officially enrolled at the school. In reality, there are candidates who confirm online but do not go to school to complete the admission procedures. On the contrary, there are cases where admission is not possible but the admission confirmation operation cannot be performed on the system for some reason, for example, the system does not display information like the case of the parent mentioned above.

"Therefore, the list of candidates that the school reports to the Ministry of Education and Training is the final officially recognized list of successful candidates in the admission year," he affirmed.

However, according to the head of this training department, the Ministry of Education and Training's admission system will remain open until 5 p.m. on August 31. Candidates who have not yet confirmed their admission should complete the process as soon as possible. In case of any technical problems, candidates can contact the training institution directly for support.

In addition, according to information from the Ministry of Education and Training, in case candidates encounter problems while performing operations on the Ministry of Education and Training's admission system, they can call the technical support phone number for timely answers. This phone number is clearly stated on the Ministry of Education and Training's admission system.

Previously, on August 28, the Ministry of Education and Training reopened the admission confirmation system for candidates admitted to the first round of university admissions. According to the 2024 admission plan, 5:00 p.m. on August 27 is the deadline for candidates to confirm their admission on the general admission support system. However, according to feedback from training institutions and candidates, some candidates discovered that they had not confirmed their admission on the system when they enrolled directly at the school. To facilitate candidates, the Ministry of Education and Training continued to reopen the system for candidates to complete the admission confirmation procedure. The system reopening time is extended until before 5:00 p.m. on August 31.
