When choosing to pay the admission fee using MoMo, candidates access the general admission support system of the Ministry of Education and Training at https://thisinh.thithptquocgia.edu.vn. At the payment step, just select the MoMo logo and click the payment button. The system will display a QR code, candidates open the "Scan code" feature on MoMo to pay and confirm the completion of the fee payment procedure.

These simple operations help candidates/parents not to manually enter account number information, verification code or fill in the fee amount, etc., thereby limiting unwanted errors as well as saving significant time. In particular, candidates/parents can also easily pay the admission fee for others by simply scanning the QR Code without having to enter complicated account information. Even candidates who only choose 1 wish (equivalent to 20,000 VND fee) can easily choose to pay with MoMo.

This is the third year that MoMo has accompanied hundreds of thousands of candidates/parents on the journey to university admission. In 2022, the number of transactions via MoMo reached 179,000, accounting for more than 50% of total university admission fee payments nationwide. In 2023, this number was 297,450 transactions, accounting for more than 48% of total university admission fee payments. According to the plan for implementing university and college admissions in 2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates must complete registration and adjust their admission wishes before 5:00 p.m. on July 30, 2024 and pay the admission registration fee online from July 31 to 5:00 p.m. on August 6, 2024. The Ministry of Education and Training has coordinated with the Government Office to prepare the infrastructure for connecting and paying university admission registration fees online. Candidates are allowed to choose 1 of 17 main online payment channels nationwide to pay the admission fee.

Instructions for paying 2024 University admission fees using MoMo:

Step 1: Access the page http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn/>> Enter CCCD/CMND, Login code and Confirmation code;
Step 2: Select “View list of registered wishes” >> Click “Payment” button;
Step 3: Check the admission fee according to the number of registered wishes and confirm payment;
Step 4: Select the MoMo logo and click the “Pay” button;
Step 5: The system displays the QR code >> Log in to MoMo and select the "Scan code" feature >> Move the phone to scan the QR Code >> "Confirm" on MoMo to complete.
