Musicians Huy Tuan, Thanh Lam, Tung Duong release song celebrating Buddha's birthday 2023 "Ngoc Dai Sen"

On Buddha's birthday 2023 (Buddhist calendar 2567), musician Huy Tuan - also a Buddhist, released a song he has long cherished called Ngoc Dai Sen. The special music project features two singers: Meritorious Artist Thanh Lam and Tung Duong.

Musician Huy Tuan released the song "Ngoc Dai Sen", inviting Thanh Lam and Tung Duong to contribute their vocals.

Ngoc Dai Sen was written by poet Phan Huyen Thu and composed by musician Nguyen Thanh Binh.

The song has a melody that is both melodious and passionate, but also majestic and solemn, evoking many emotions for the audience. Musician Huy Tuan hopes that through Ngoc Dai Sen, listeners will turn their hearts to good things, always opening their hearts to compassion for all. The song's lyrics are also extremely sacred when combining the majestic sounds of Buddha chanting and mantras with poetic lyrics: "I pray to open my mind to boundless virtue, forget anger and hatred. The Buddha's light shines with wisdom from the heart...".

Not only is the song dedicated to this year's Buddha's birthday, Ngoc Dai Sen with its beautiful lyrics and melody promises to be loved by a large audience and have a long-lasting vitality in Vietnam's Buddhist music scene.

Thanh Lam and Tung Duong's voices in Ngoc Dai Sen are impressive. Known for their powerful voices, in Ngoc Dai Sen, the audience sees a gentle and graceful Thanh Lam and Tung Duong.

Musician Huy Tuan shared: “Thanh Lam and Tung Duong are also Buddhists, so as soon as I announced the project, they immediately joined. I am completely assured and confident in the way they handle the song, because they are both experienced singers with many years of experience in the profession…”.

The song Ngoc Dai Sen will be performed for the first time by Thanh Lam - Tung Duong at the art performance night Lua Thien Ruc Sang Su Vang. The music night is organized by the Cultural Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of May 28 at Viet Nam Quoc Tu (District 10, Ho Chi Minh City) to celebrate this year's Buddha's Birthday as well as commemorate the 60th anniversary of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc's self-immolation.

The event is carefully and professionally staged, expected to attract thousands of monks, nuns, Buddhists and those who love Buddhism. The music night attracts many famous and talented artists who will perform with the orchestra.
