Musician Do Hong Quan was honored at the contest "Living forever with time"

(Dan Tri) - At the ceremony to announce the literary and artistic works accepted at the creative launch with the theme "Living forever with time", musician Do Hong Quan, playwright Chu Thom... were honored.

On December 28, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a ceremony to announce accepted literary and artistic works at the creative launch with the theme Living Forever with Time .

This is an activity to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2030) and the 85th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2030), directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, chaired by the Department of Performing Arts, in coordination with organizing units.

Sharing at the event, Mr. Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Minister of Culture - Sports and Tourism - emphasized that since December 2022, the launch of the creation of literary and artistic works with the theme Living Forever with Time has received positive responses from many artists across the country.

Among more than 200 outlines and manuscripts sent by authors, the Organizing Committee selected 50 authors with outlines and manuscripts with good ideas and content to participate.

Northern region creative camp in Tam Dao (Vinh Phuc) and Southern region creative camp in Vung Tau (Ba Ria, Vung Tau).

After the completion stage, the Organizing Committee selected 35 complete, high-quality works, including: 10 literary works, 12 theatrical works, 11 musical works and 2 dance works.

"We hope that these works will have wide dissemination and long-lasting vitality, contributing to the innovation of literature and art in the modern trend, contributing to building an increasingly prosperous Vietnam, contributing to the construction of the country in the new era...", Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong expressed.

Specifically, the 10 literary works include: The Lamp Keeper (novel) by Duong Huong, Flashmob Dance in Truong Sa (epic) by Nguyen Thanh Mung, Stormy Motherland (novel) by Nguyen Trong Tan, Post-war Love Story (novel) by Nguyen The Duc, Singing Sugarcane (novel) by Do Viet Nghiem, Smoke from the Forest (novel) by Nguyen Manh Hung, National and Family Affairs - The Life of King Tran Thai Tong (novel) by Nguyen Thi Hong Tham, Color of the Delta (epic) by Le Quang Trang, The Rainy Cross (novel) by Le Vu Truong Giang, The Southern Fence (epic) by Le Thanh My.

In the theater field, there are works: Behind the legend by Nguyen Thanh Binh, Uncle Ho's stilt house by Le Quy Hien, Forever with time by Hoang Thanh Du, The heart of the land by Chu Thom, Red coral by Trinh Bich Ngan, Endless long march by Le Thu Hanh, Bright road by Nguyen Thu Phuong, Truth road by Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet, For what remains forever by Le Cong Phuong, Wild sunflowers still bloom by Nguyen Duc Minh, Forever a spring by Vuong Huyen Co and Attending the memorial service for oneself by Nguyen Toan Thang.

In the field of music, there are works: Proud of my homeland Vietnam (chorus) by Ngo Hoang Quan, Dan Bau country (Written for choir and Symphony Orchestra, set to Luu Quang Vu's poem, music by Trong Dai), Him Lam moon (musical) by Do Hong Quan, Lullaby of the origin (chorus) by Duong Bich Ha, Quan Ho love (Violin concerto and symphony orchestra) by Vu Hung, New day (chorus) by Trinh Minh Uoc, Heroic land of the 20th century (musical) by Duc Tan, Non song mot dai (Symphony, choir with traditional instruments) by Cao Dinh Thang, Going to the sun (opera) by Le Khanh Toan and Tay Nguyen radiant colors (poetry symphony) by Xuan Minh.

In the field of dance, there are works: Opening the sea (dance poem) by Ngo Dang Cuong, Youth on the fire line (dance drama) by Ha Thanh Hau.

Sharing at the event, musician Do Hong Quan said he felt honored to be recognized but also found it a challenge when writing.

"Living forever means that everyone wants to send their work to the public and the public are the ones who nurture and take care of it... from there the work will grow.

Therefore, the pressure on us is enormous. How can we create works that have issues that last forever? To create, we must truly vibrate and that is the "key" to go into time and last forever with the country," said Mr. Quan.
