The first automobile factory in Quang Ninh: Operating the production of Skoda brand cars

After nearly 2 years of investment and construction, on March 26, Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory was officially inaugurated and put into operation the first cars under the Skoda brand. The factory's operation not only marks a new step in the processing and manufacturing industry of Quang Ninh province, but also accompanies the Government in the goal of increasing the localization rate and increasing autonomy in automobile production in Vietnam.

Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory is the central project in Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile and Supporting Industry Complex. The factory is built on an area of ​​36.5 hectares with a total designed capacity of 120,000 vehicles/year.

After nearly 2 years of construction, the factory has completed all construction and installation items according to the design and scale; ensuring technical factors, synchronous, modern, advanced technology. Currently, the factory operates the production and assembly of commercial vehicles, Skoda brand - the oldest car brand in the Czech Republic.

The entire factory system is operated automatically, meeting the development trend of the world automobile industry.

At the welding workshop, robotic arms are equipped to handle the assembly process with many meticulous and complex details, creating vehicle products according to design standards.

The automatic painting line is operated by machines, under human supervision. Every stage of the painting process, from surface preparation, painting to final inspection, follows a standardized process and is performed automatically.

The assembly stage of Skoda brand cars is carefully checked by experts before being put on the test track.

The inauguration of Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory, with Skoda brand cars being commercially produced in Quang Ninh, not only marks a new step forward in the province's processing and manufacturing industry, but also accompanies the Government in its goal of increasing the localization rate and increasing autonomy in automobile production in Vietnam.
