Domestic Passenger Terminal T3 of Tan Son Nhat International Airport will open on April 30 as directed by the Prime Minister to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification.


On March 13, information from Tan Son Nhat International Airport (HKQT) said that domestic passenger terminal T3 will be inaugurated on April 30 and officially put into operation after the peak period of April 30 - May 1.

This is the goal of implementing the Prime Minister 's direction on opening the domestic passenger terminal T3 of Tan Son Nhat International Airport on the occasion of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

Currently, Tan Son Nhat International Airport has planned to check the stable operation of equipment systems, passenger service procedures, training, and communication to passengers.

Tan Son Nhat International Airport is expected to operate domestic flights of Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air. The airport will conduct a practical test operation at the domestic passenger terminal T3 before inauguration.

Only 4 airlines Vasco, Bamboo Airways, Vietravel Airlines, Pacific Airlines will continue to operate at Domestic Passenger Terminal T1.

It is known that the construction of Terminal T3 has reached nearly 90% of the workload. The main items such as the bridge, elevator system, escalator, telescopic bridge, baggage conveyor, X-ray machine... are being accelerated.

Meanwhile, the Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa connecting road project has also achieved more than 90% of its overall progress. The project is completing the final stages to connect synchronously with T3 terminal when it is put into operation.
