At the meeting with Mr. Yasu Nagahata - Director of ABU Programming, and Ms. Olya Booyar - Head of ABU Radio Department, Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh briefly introduced the development history and publications of Nhan Dan Newspaper.
Journalist Le Quoc Minh said that since its first issue in 1951, Nhan Dan Newspaper has held a very important position in the Vietnamese press and is currently one of the largest press agencies in the country.
From a print newspaper, Nhan Dan Newspaper has developed a full range of journalism on multiple platforms. Currently, Nhan Dan Newspaper has permanent offices in 6 countries.

Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh emphasized that analyzing the development trend of journalism in the digital age, Nhan Dan Newspaper has built a Digital Transformation Strategy to develop into Vietnam's leading multimedia press agency.
Over the past 2 years, Nhan Dan Newspaper has continuously launched new products such as the Information Verification column, In-depth Knowledge, Podcast... to reach a wider audience. Content posted by Nhan Dan Newspaper on platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Facebook... has received positive feedback from young audiences.
Responding to Olya Booyar’s question about the priorities of Nhan Dan Newspaper in the coming time, journalist Le Quoc Minh said that Nhan Dan Newspaper will innovate and develop according to the model of a “media-tech press agency”. Nhan Dan Newspaper also aims to operate as an agency that produces and distributes multi-platform, multimedia content.
In addition, Nhan Dan Newspaper will invest more in technology and data collection to analyze public behavior, thereby developing content production strategies suitable for each public group.
Mr. Yasu Nagahata said that ABU is the world's largest broadcasting association and one of its strengths is providing technological support to broadcasting agencies in the region.
Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh expressed his hope that Nhan Dan Newspaper will receive support and assistance from ABU in the development of radio and television products in the coming time.
