Nguyen Thi Oanh shared after the finish line: "I am happy to defend the first place in the women's 5km distance, and even more special because this is the 8th consecutive victory. I am also extremely touched to receive the warm cheers from the people of Phu Yen as well as the encouragement from the audience.
Today I have won over myself, the running route is very beautiful, but the weather is quite harsh, it is very sunny. This year's season I compete with many potential young athletes, that is also the motivation for me to try harder in the future."
