On the side of Dien Bien province, there were comrades: Le Thanh Do, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Lo Van Mung, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches.
Respectfully laying wreaths and offering incense at the Martyrs' Temple at Dien Bien Phu battlefield and A1 Martyrs' Cemetery, comrade Truong Hoa Binh and the delegates commemorated and expressed their deep gratitude for the great contributions of the heroes and martyrs - the nation's outstanding sons who fought bravely and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign. In front of the heroic souls of the heroes and martyrs, the delegates vowed to unite, continue to promote the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", and join hands to contribute to building the country.
Next, the delegation visited the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum; listened to the explanation about the Panorama painting and historical documents and artifacts of the Dien Bien Phu campaign.
This is an activity in the journey back to the source, towards the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory organized by the Vietnam Association of Former Youth Volunteers.
Also on the morning of March 21, comrade Truong Hoa Binh attended the incense offering ceremony and the inauguration of the Amida Buddha statue at Linh Quang Pagoda, Thanh Nua Commune, Dien Bien District. He also prayed for national peace and prosperity, for the country to develop and prosper, and for Dien Bien to rise to par with other provinces and cities in the country.
