(NLDO)- Camera recorded the scene of a man carrying a bucket of gasoline to burn down a coffee shop because of a conflict with the staff, causing 11 deaths.
On December 19, Hanoi City Police are temporarily detaining CVH (51 years old, residing in Dai Mach commune, Dong Anh district, Hanoi) to investigate and handle the act of burning down a coffee shop at 258 Pham Van Dong, Co Nhue 2 ward, Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi.

Accordingly, at around 11pm on December 18, a large fire broke out at a 3-storey house with an attic and a coffee shop at 258 Pham Van Dong. Upon receiving the report, the Hanoi City Police Department dispatched the Fire Prevention and Fighting Force to the scene to coordinate with the local authorities and residents to organize firefighting, rescue and relief efforts.
By 11:40 p.m. the same day, the fire was under control. Authorities guided and assisted in bringing 7 people out (5 of whom were in stable condition, 2 were taken to the hospital for emergency care) and discovered 11 people had died.
Through initial verification, the police suspected that the coffee shop was burned down and urgently searched for and arrested the suspect. At around 0:00 on December 19, the city police arrested CVH.

In the early morning of December 19, Hanoi City Police decided to prosecute the murder case and prosecute CVH (51 years old, residing in Dai Mach commune, Dong Anh district, Hanoi) to investigate and handle the act of burning down the coffee shop.
At the police station, CVH initially confessed that he went to the cafe to drink beer and then had a conflict with the cafe staff, so he bought gasoline and poured it on the first floor of the cafe (where there were many motorbikes) and then set it on fire; when he saw the fire, H. left.
According to the police, H. had two previous convictions for robbery and theft.
