TPO - Problems in site clearance have caused the 1.5 km long road, with a total investment of up to 1,200 billion VND, to not reach the finish line after nearly 6 years of construction, affecting people's traffic.

The project to build a 40m road connecting Nguyen Van Cu Street to the end of the resettlement area of Ngoc Thuy Ward. This is the road from the Nguyen Van Cu - Hong Tien intersection to Ngoc Thuy Street (opposite Bac Bien Park) which started in 2018.

The project, once completed, will create a smooth route from Dong Tru Bridge through Thuong Thanh, Ngoc Thuy, Ngoc Lam, Bo De, Long Bien, Thach Ban wards and connect to the Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway. In the photo is the completed Nguyen Van Cu - Hong Tien overpass.

The entire route is 1.5 km long and 40 m wide with a total investment of 1,200 billion VND, of which more than half is for site clearance and resettlement support.

Many project locations have not been put into use as parking lots for people's cars.

Up to now, the project has not been completed, the reason for the delay is problems in site clearance.

The highlight of the route is the steel overpass at the Hong Tien - Nguyen Van Cu intersection, with a length and approach road of about 400 m, designed with 2 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for mixed vehicles. Currently, asphalt, markings and road painting have been completed.

The end point of the project intersects with the dike corridor road at lane 264 Ngoc Thuy, the road with a cross-section of 40m wide has been basically completed.
