Developing tourism associated with traditional culture

Located in the north of Kon Tum province, bordering Laos and Cambodia, where the Indochina junction, Bo Y international border gate, Ho Chi Minh road pass through and on the East-West economic corridor, this is a favorable condition for tourism development. Therefore, Ngoc Hoi district has selected 02 villages, including: Dak Rang village, Dak Duc commune and Dak Me village, Po Y commune to build community tourism.

Dak Me village, Po Y commune currently has more than 170 households, nearly 600 people, mainly Brau ethnic people. With the attention and investment of the State, the traditional cultural values ​​of the Brau people have been preserved and promoted.

Currently, the Brau people still preserve many sets of Tha gongs, brocade weaving, and rice wine made from leaves. Most recently, the province has invested in repairing the traditional cultural communal house of the village. Thereby, creating favorable conditions for the Brau people to develop community tourism.

With the investment attention of the province, district and the efforts of the Gie Trieng people in the process of preserving the traditional cultural values ​​of the nation, in 2024, Dak Rang village, Dak Duc commune, Ngoc Hoi district was recognized by the People's Committee of Kon Tum province as a Community Tourism Village.

Currently, the village still preserves traditional cultural values, such as: Gongs, xoang dance; making rice wine; brocade weaving; making musical instruments; weaving, tools for production and family life...

We always strive to preserve the original unique cultural values ​​of the Gie Trieng people, because that not only helps the young generation be proud of their national culture, but also introduces it to tourists from near and far.
