Artists of Busan Theater Association (Korea) at Ho Chi Minh City Small Stage Drama Theater
On the morning of October 23, the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association welcomed artists from the Busan Theater Association (Korea) to exchange in Ho Chi Minh City. Director Ton That Can, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, welcomed the artists and introduced the achievements of the Ho Chi Minh City Small Stage Drama Theater.
Previously, on October 22, People's Artist and Director Tran Ngoc Giau, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, welcomed the delegation and introduced the activities of professional theaters in Ho Chi Minh City, and welcomed artists of the Busan Theater Association (Korea) who will return to Vietnam in November to attend the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Theater Festival - 2024.
People's Artist My Uyen - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Small Stage Drama Theater introduced to artists of the Busan Theater Association (Korea) the incense burning ritual before the Ancestor's altar and gave an overview of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Theater.
"The Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association wishes to strengthen the relationship with the Busan Theater Association (Korea) to promote, introduce, and organize performance exchanges between the two countries. Ho Chi Minh City invites Korean artists to the city to attend the Festival as well as the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association will go to Busan - Korea in the near future to perform and exchange experiences in theater activities between the two cities" - People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau said.

In 1996, People's Artist and director Tran Ngoc Giau staged the play "Step Over the Curse" and brought it to Busan (South Korea) to participate in the drama festival.

From October 24, 12 artists from the Korean troupe will interact with Trinh Kim Chi Stage, and rehearse the classic play "Romeo and Juliet" directed by Lee Jeong Nam - Chairman of the Association.
After watching the excerpt "Love of the Dieu Bong Leaves", the Korean artists were very excited. Although they did not understand the language, they understood the story of the play through the body, music and acting that were typical of the small stage 5B. In response to the affection of the theater artists, two actors Sung Min Yang and Paek Kyu Jin performed a short excerpt.
