* On the morning of January 17, Comrade Vo Van Thuong - Politburo member, President attended the "Humanitarian Tet" program for the Spring of Giap Thin 2024 held in the border commune of Thanh Thuy, Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An. At the program, the President and the delegation presented gifts with a total value of 20.26 billion VND.
On the same day, the President visited and wished a happy new year to officers and soldiers of Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station, Thanh Chuong District, Nghe An Province on the occasion of the New Year 2024, preparing to welcome the Spring of Giap Thin.
* The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Directive No. 1/CT-UBND to organize "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho" on the occasion of the Spring of Giap Thin and to strengthen forest management, protection and development from the beginning of 2024.
* This year, Vinh University plans to enroll 5,050 students in 57 majors, including some new majors enrolling in 2024 including: Veterinary Medicine, International Studies, Educational Psychology, Architecture, Plant Science, Digital Economics.
* On the afternoon of January 17, a truck with an unknown license plate overturned while traveling on National Highway 1A, passing through Dien Truong commune, Dien Chau district, spilling hundreds of crates of beer onto the road and being collected by local residents.
