Nghe An connects nearly 600 points to attend the national conference to disseminate Regulation No. 144 and Directive No. 35 of the Politburo.

On the morning of July 9, the Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat held a national conference to disseminate Regulation No. 144 dated May 9, 2024 of the Politburo on revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period and Directive No. 35 dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress. The conference was held in both in-person and online formats. At the provincial bridge point of Nghe An, there were the following comrades in attendance: Thai Thanh Quy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Hoang Nghia Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

To serve the online conference, Nghe An province has arranged 592 connecting points with nearly 29 thousand delegates summoned, of which 1 provincial level connecting point, 37 district level connecting points organized at district Party Committees, city Party Committees, Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee, departments, branches, sectors, Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations; in communes, wards and towns there are more than 550 connecting points.

At the conference, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, disseminated the contents of Regulation No. 144 and the Guidelines for implementing the Regulation; Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Department, disseminated the contents of Directive No. 35.

Regulation No. 144 of the Politburo has 5 articles that specifically stipulate the revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period. These are important standards for each cadre and party member, from strategic and high-level cadres to seriously implement; at the same time, they are the basis for evaluating the qualities, personalities, attitudes, and behaviors of cadres and party members; they are an example for each cadre and party member, especially those holding positions, to self-reflect, self-correct, and self-train; they are the basis for Party committees at all levels to select and supplement virtuous and talented party members... with enough heart and capacity to carry out revolutionary tasks in the current context and situation.

Regarding Directive No. 35, this is an extremely important document, clearly orienting the viewpoints, principles, goals, requirements and basic contents of preparing for party congresses at all levels so that party committees and organizations at all levels can thoroughly grasp, lead, direct, concretize and organize implementation at their level; ensuring synchronization and unity throughout the entire political system. In particular, the Politburo sets out 7 requirements for the preparation and implementation of party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Comrade Luong Cuong, Standing member of the Secretariat, requested the serious and effective implementation of Regulation No. 144 and Directive No. 35, creating a clear change in awareness and action throughout the Party and political system, increasing consensus in society and among the people.
