The first Vietnamese Business Culture Day Abroad in 2024 will be held at the Vietnamese Cultural Center in France on September 13 with the theme "Vietnamese and Asian Business Culture: Interwoven Perspectives".

The first Vietnamese Business Culture Day Abroad was organized by the Vietnam Association for the Development of Vietnamese Business Culture (VNABC), the Vietnamese Embassy in France in coordination with relevant units, under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the Steering Committee for the implementation of the Campaign "Building Vietnamese Business Culture" (Organizing Committee 248).

According to VNABC Chairman Ho Anh Tuan, the Vietnamese Business Culture Day Abroad is a practical activity contributing to realizing and spreading the spirit of the Resolution of the Party and Government on building corporate culture, honoring Vietnamese corporate culture; contributing to promoting economic and cultural exchanges between Vietnam and France and Europe; sharing Vietnamese corporate culture with foreign businesses and partners.

The program aims to raise awareness of the role of corporate culture in socio-economic development associated with sustainable development in the context of international integration, contributing to enhancing cultural soft power through corporate culture.

At the same time, create opportunities to connect Vietnamese entrepreneurs and businesses in France and Europe through building and developing corporate culture, connecting and supporting Vietnamese businesses that have, are and will invest and do business abroad with the Vietnamese business community and associations in France and Europe.

Ambassador Nguyen Thi Bich Hue, Head of VNABC International Cooperation Department, former Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy, said that the first Vietnamese Business Culture Day Abroad is expected to have the participation of more than 200 delegates representing leaders of the Party, State, ministries and branches of Vietnam; and a number of Vietnamese Ambassadors in Europe.

Along with that are experts, researchers on economics and culture; representatives of Vietnamese enterprises that have, are and will invest in France and Europe; Vietnamese business associations; Vietnamese enterprises and business associations in France and Europe; French and European enterprises that have, are and will invest in Vietnam...

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Hue informed that right after the Opening Ceremony, there will be a Forum on “Vietnamese and European Business Culture: Intertwined Perspectives”. This is the key activity of the event, helping to create a bridge for speakers and delegates representing businesses to share their views and perspectives on the importance of culture and corporate culture for the sustainable development of businesses, on the European and Vietnamese business culture environment, exchange experiences of success and failure in management from a cultural perspective, on how to adapt to different business environments, etc.

The forum will be organized into two thematic sessions: Session 1 - Business culture and international integration of enterprises , including 3 discussion topics: European business culture environment, differences (safety standards, risks, trust, responsible supply chains, etc.) and some legal bases that enterprises need to implement when working in Europe. European enterprises adapt to the cultural and business environment in Vietnam; Vietnamese business culture with the success of Vietnamese enterprises in Europe.

Session 2 - Business culture exchange: Turning challenges into opportunities , with 3 contents: Successes and failures of Vietnamese enterprises in Europe and European enterprises in Vietnam through the perspective of business culture. Vietnamese business community abroad: spreading Vietnamese business culture values ​​in developing a network of Vietnamese enterprises in Europe.

Some suggestions for Vietnamese enterprises to integrate and develop in the international business environment: innovation and adaptation to resonate with regional connections and the unique characteristics of the Vietnamese business network in connecting partners.

Sharing at a press conference to inform about the recent event, Mr. Ho Anh Tuan affirmed that to be able to organize the Vietnamese Business Culture Day abroad was a great effort of VNABC, the Vietnamese Embassy in France and related units.

“We hope that the Program will not only convey meaningful messages, exchange experiences in managing cultural aspects in business as well as the adaptation of Vietnamese companies to the cultural business environment in France and Europe, but also be a bridge to further enhance the soft power of Vietnamese culture, an opportunity to promote and introduce the unique cultural values ​​of Vietnam to international friends…”, Mr. Ho Anh Tuan emphasized.

Within the framework of the first Vietnamese Business Culture Day Abroad, there will also be many sideline activities such as: Vietnamese lacquer exhibition; introduction of Vietnamese cuisine ; traditional art performances...
