According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Decree 95/2021/ND-CP on petroleum trading stipulates that September 1 is the date for adjusting domestic petroleum retail prices. However, due to coinciding with a holiday according to State regulations, it will be moved to the first working day after the holiday, which is September 5.
Domestically, gasoline prices have been maintained since August 21. Specifically, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased to VND23,339/liter, and RON95 gasoline increased to VND24,601/liter.
Diesel oil price decreased by 71 VND/liter compared to the current retail price, down to 22,354 VND/liter. In contrast, kerosene price increased by 420 VND/liter, up to 22,309 VND/liter and fuel oil price increased by 313 VND/kg compared to the current retail price, not higher than 17,981 VND/kg.
Since the beginning of the year, gasoline prices have undergone 24 adjustments, including 14 increases, 7 decreases, and 3 unchanged.
