The teaching profession is likened to a ferryman, transporting students to the shore of knowledge; leading the way, opening the journey to adulthood and career. On that journey, teachers endure many obstacles and challenges. In 1998, with its social responsibility, SGGP Newspaper came up with the idea of ​​organizing an award to honor teachers, the award was named after Mr. Vo Truong Toan, a famous teacher of the old Saigon - Gia Dinh land. Through many changes of the times, a quarter of a century, the award has become a support for many teachers.
