In the 2022-2023 school year, 92% of the female students of Paving the Way to the Future achieved good, excellent, and excellent academic results and finished their third year of university with many outstanding achievements in social activities. This summer, they are all actively doing internships and participating in final year student projects to prepare for the new journey that awaits them after graduation.

The Dream Festival 2023, themed “Proud to Shine”, brought together 49 female students from across Vietnam to participate in a series of carefully designed activities taking place over 4 days in the capital city of Hanoi, creating an opportunity for them to look back on their successful school year and be best prepared for the important milestone in their upcoming academic journey. Skills training workshops interspersed with cultural exploration activities held over the 4 days of the event gave female students the opportunity to explore and appreciate Vietnamese history, meet and learn from inspirational leaders and experts, and practice the skills necessary for their personal development and future careers.
The workshops focused on topics such as soft skills needed in the 21st century, job-hunting skills and avoiding financial traps. In addition, the female students also visited famous historical sites such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Hoa Lo Prison Relics, Hai Ba Trung Temple and Bat Trang Pottery Village to learn about the thousand-year history of Hanoi. Especially in this year's Dream Festival, the female students were honored to visit the Office of the President and meet Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan to listen to her share about her career path as well as the achievements of the Government. With a strong belief in the young generation of the country, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan encouraged all the female students to strive to overcome adversity, confidently express themselves and contribute to the development of the country.

The 2023 Dream Festival ended with a Gala party to honor the achievements of the female students, with the highlight being the special performances performed by the students themselves, along with the awarding of scholarships for the next school year on stage. The party was honored to welcome Ms. Truong My Hoa - Former Vice President of Vietnam, Chairwoman of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, Mr. Don Lam - General Director & Founding Shareholder of VinaCapital Group, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VinaCapital Foundation, Mr. Rad Kivette - General Director of VinaCapital Foundation and leaders and partners accompanying the program.
Ms. Truong My Hoa and Mr. Don Lam presented certificates of merit to female college graduates.
Paving the Way to the Future aims to reduce poverty in ethnic minority communities in Vietnam through education and training programs. Launched in 2010, the program has awarded 2,351 scholarships to disadvantaged ethnic minority students, including full scholarships, and provided essential skills training to bright female students. The female students of Phase 1 have graduated from university and college, many of whom have returned to their hometowns to work and support their local communities.
The Path to the Future program affirms the commitment of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and VinaCapital Foundation towards building a resilient Vietnam where ethnic minority female students are motivated to become pioneers contributing to the economic development of the community, improving the lives of themselves and those around them.
