A place where diverse cultures converge.
At the festival, in addition to lively cultural performances and sports competitions, there were also competitions in pounding rice quickly and cooking rice fast, traditional cuisine, and the reenactment and recreation of traditional rituals of ethnic minority groups. These competitions also attracted hundreds of eyes, focused on the rhythmic pounding of the pestles and mortars, and the nimble hands of the men and women skillfully sifting the rice to produce the best quality rice as quickly as possible.

Next to them were cooking fires, bamboo tubes, banana leaves, and pandan leaves, all prepared by the teams for the traditional culinary competition. While sports competitions demand skill and physical training, culinary arts competitions provide an opportunity for athletes and spectators to learn about and exchange culinary traditions with each other.

Ms. Thi Thao, a supporter from Quang Truc commune (Tuy Duc district), shared: "This year I found the participating teams very enthusiastic and engaging. I hope the local authorities will organize more activities like this to promote culture and preserve traditional customs. Through these activities, people will actively participate to learn more about the cultural heritage of the villages and hamlets. This is also an opportunity to meet relatives and neighbors from near and far, invite them to the camp for a meal and a drink of rice wine, strengthening our bonds of friendship."

On this occasion, many localities showcased traditional cultural spaces such as: the Central Highlands gong music, the Then singing and Tinh lute playing of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups, the Khua Luong dance of the Thai ethnic group; the reconstruction of the rain-worshiping and harvest-praying festivals of the M'nong, Mong, and Dao ethnic groups; competitions in erecting ceremonial poles, constructing replicas of traditional houses... reflecting the unique identity of the inhabitants of the Dak Nong plateau.

Along with many attractive cultural activities, the festival also features displays and introductions of local specialties and OCOP products such as macadamia nuts, longan, pepper, deer antlers soaked in honey, coffee, etc. This is also an opportunity for ethnic minority people in the province to promote their specialties and unique tourism products.
"The Ethnic Groups' Cultural and Sports Festival is a place for gathering, exchange, honoring, and showcasing traditional values. Through this festival, we contribute to promoting the potential and strengths of cultural and sports development to visitors from near and far. At the same time, we inspire aspirations, faith, and national pride, fostering the positive spirit and self-reliance of ethnic groups in socio-economic development and poverty reduction."
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Danh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Krong No District, Head of the Organizing Committee for the Cultural and Sports Festival of Ethnic Groups in Krong No District.

It can be seen that the Ethnic Groups' Cultural and Sports Festival is not only an opportunity for the people and tourists to exchange cultures, strengthen bonds, and build unity among ethnic groups, but also an opportunity for localities to introduce to tourists, organizations, individuals, and businesses the potential, land, and friendly people. Through this, it creates favorable conditions for investors and businesses to develop tourism associated with the restoration, preservation, and promotion of the cultural identity of ethnic groups in Dak Nong province.
