On November 10, the National Great Unity Day was held simultaneously in residential areas.

On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Traditional Day November 18 (1930-2024), Quang Ninh province will simultaneously organize the National Great Unity Festival in residential areas on November 10 with the theme "Solidarity Festival - Warm military-civilian affection".

Special features of the National Great Unity Day in residential areas This year's activities will be linked to the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army on December 22 (1944-2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day on December 22 (1989-2024) to further promote military-civilian solidarity and firmly consolidate the great national unity bloc.

The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Military Command have issued Joint Plan No. 12/KHPH-MTTQ-QS (dated October 8, 2024) to closely coordinate and carefully prepare for the organization of the Festival in 100% of residential areas in the province. Based on the actual situation, the Festival is organized within an appropriate scale. The ceremony will last no more than 90 minutes with the following contents: Reviewing the history and traditions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam People's Army; reporting the results of 1 year of implementing movements and campaigns; praising exemplary families and individuals; launching emulation responses to welcome the Village (area, hamlet) Party Congress for the 2025-2027 term, and the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

The festival selects cultural exchange activities suitable for the locality; focuses on cultural, artistic and sports exchange activities between the people and the military forces; creates a joyful and exciting atmosphere, encouraging and motivating the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people to compete to successfully complete political tasks, develop the socio-economy and protect the Fatherland.

Some activities within the framework of the festival include: Visiting and giving gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services, veteran revolutionary cadres, families in difficult circumstances; presenting, attaching signs, inaugurating the Great Solidarity House, civil works; organizing environmental protection activities: Planting flowers, trees, beautifying village roads, alleys, residential areas to be bright - green - clean - beautiful...

The festival aims to contribute to propagating, educating , strongly arousing patriotism, pride in the tradition of solidarity of the Vietnamese people; deploying a political activity, widely propagating among officers, soldiers of the armed forces and people in the province the glorious tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Army through 80 years of building, fighting and growing ; honoring and showing gratitude to generations of officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army through the periods...
