Ha Tinh Party Inspection Department strives to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection and supervision work.

Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Party Inspection Sector's Traditional Day October 16 (1948 - 2023)

Promoting the glorious tradition, the Party Inspection Department of Ha Tinh province continues to innovate, constantly improving the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection and supervision work with the motto that supervision must be expanded, inspection must be focused and key; in which, prevention and "construction" are the main focus.

Right from the early days of its establishment, our Party has clearly recognized the importance of inspection work in ensuring strict implementation of goals, ideals, platforms, strategies, guidelines, policies, directives and resolutions; at the same time, strengthening the maintenance of discipline and solidarity within the Party.

From its founding to 1948, the Party's inspection work was concerned and directly directed by the Party Central Committee and President Ho Chi Minh. At this time, a specialized apparatus had not been established, and inspection tasks were carried out by Party committees and Party organizations at all levels.

At the end of 1948, based on the requirements of the Party building task and maintaining discipline in the Party, on October 16, 1948, in the Viet Bac War Zone, the Central Party Standing Committee issued a Resolution to establish the Central Inspection Committee - the first specialized inspection agency of the Party, headed by comrade Tran Dang Ninh - member of the Central Party Committee.

Later, the 8th Politburo decided to take October 16, 1948 as the traditional day, marking the first milestone in the journey of building and developing the Party Inspection sector.

Over the past 75 years, the Party Inspection sector has continuously developed and matured, growing in both strength and organizational structure. When it was first established, there were only 3 comrades at the Central level, but now there are more than 6,000 full-time cadres from the district level and above, along with more than 12,000 part-time inspection cadres.

Under the leadership of the Party Central Committee, directly the Politburo and the Secretariat, and the attention of Party committees at all levels, the Party Inspection sector has always promoted tradition, absolute loyalty, solidarity, honesty, discipline and dedication, constantly innovated thinking, met the requirements and demands of practice to successfully complete assigned tasks in the work of building and rectifying a clean and strong Party, for the cause of national construction and development.

In August 2023, the Steering Committee for Research and Compilation of the History of the Party Inspection Sector of Ha Tinh Province organized a workshop to contribute comments on the draft book History of the Party Inspection Sector of Ha Tinh Province (1957 - 2022).

For Ha Tinh, implementing Resolution No. 04-NQ/TW, dated March 6, 1956 of the Politburo on strengthening inspection work and establishing inspection committees at all levels, in February 1957, the Inspection Committee of Inter-Zone IV was established (Inter-Zone IV includes the provinces: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien). Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee continued to add more Party Committee members to ensure leadership in all aspects of work.

On February 28, 1957, the Inspection Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee was established. The Provincial Party Committee assigned comrade Tran Que - Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee as Head of the Committee. From then on, the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee officially had a specialized inspection agency, marking an important historical milestone in the process of formation and development of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection sector.

When the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee was first established, it had only 3 members. Up to now, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee has 441 Inspection Committees at all levels with 1,737 members from the provincial to grassroots levels who have been making efforts and being responsible in performing their tasks.

The 19th Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission held its 24th session.

Over the years, the Inspection Committees at all levels have made many innovations, constantly improving the effectiveness and efficiency of their work; advising and assisting Party committees in leading, directing, and organizing implementation, while comprehensively deploying inspection and supervision tasks according to the provisions of the Party Charter.

With a resolute, uncompromising spirit, no forbidden zones, no exceptions, the Inspection Committees at all levels have inspected, concluded and advised on the final resolution of many complicated and serious cases in difficult and new fields.

The review, enforcement of discipline and recommendations for disciplinary action are strictly implemented by the Inspection Committees at all levels, ensuring fairness, accuracy, timeliness, compliance with regulations, "understanding and reason", helping the Party organization and Party members who violate the law to recognize shortcomings and violations, voluntarily overcome them and make progress.

Accordingly, from the beginning of the 2020-2025 term up to now, Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels have inspected 7,719 Party organizations and 4,616 Party members; supervised 4,496 Party organizations and 5,089 Party members; and disciplined 31 Party organizations and 2,559 Party members.

The results of the implementation of the tasks of the Inspection Committees at all levels in the entire provincial Party Committee have contributed to helping the Party Committees lead and direct the strict implementation of the principle of democratic centralism and working regulations; improve the leadership capacity, fighting strength, discipline and order in the Party; successfully implement the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels, bringing Ha Tinh stability and development in all aspects.

Inheriting and promoting the glorious tradition of 75 years of the Party Inspection sector, cadres of the Party Inspection sector of Ha Tinh province constantly strive and train to improve their political qualities, working methods and styles, maintain their qualities, ethics, enthusiasm, determination and high responsibility in their profession, successfully complete inspection and supervision tasks; making an important contribution to the work of building an increasingly clean and strong Party.
