Russia is ready to respond to proposals for talks on Ukraine even tomorrow. President Vladimir Putin said that Russia is ready to negotiate to resolve the Ukrainian conflict even tomorrow, but to do this, all interested parties need to study peace proposals.
“ We have these proposals to resolve the conflict. It is no longer up to us that all partners interested in these negotiations will implement what is on their table and start these negotiations even tomorrow. Russia is ready to start negotiations ,” the Russian leader said.
Mr. Putin stressed that Russia has never refused to negotiate. “ We are not the ones who refuse to negotiate. The Ukrainian side forbids itself from negotiating, not us. But not on the basis of some ephemeral formulas, but on the basis of the agreements reached during the difficult negotiations in Istanbul and Minsk. We are ready to continue dialogue with the Ukrainian side ,” President Putin said.
He also added that there was no difference in the exact location where the talks would take place. “It doesn’t matter where they will take place,” Putin noted.
Russia gives reasons for attacking Ukraine's energy system . The Russian Defense Ministry has spoken out about the country's use of air-to-ground missiles and UAVs to attack Ukraine's energy system.

The US will deliver new missiles for the Patriot and NASAMS to Ukraine in the coming weeks , said John Kirby, the US National Security Council's strategic communications coordinator. The first batches of new missiles for the Patriot and NASAMS air defense systems will be delivered from the US to Ukraine in the coming weeks, Kirby said.
“ We expect that the first deliveries of air defense missiles to Ukraine will begin in the coming weeks. Of course, before the end of the summer, Ukraine will begin receiving the first shipments ,” Kirby said.

Mr Putin argued that under the Ukrainian constitution, the parliament was still legitimate and that presidential powers should have been transferred to the speaker of the parliament when Mr Zelensky’s term ended. However, officials in Kiev had deliberately kept Mr Zelensky in office.
“ It is becoming increasingly clear that the White House will soon close the ‘Zelensky Project,’ ” the SVR said. The SVR believes that Mr. Zelensky will be used as a scapegoat “once Russia consolidates its successes on the battlefield and the exhausted and demoralized Ukrainian army finds itself with no way out.”
