In addition to the dramatic, brain-teasing matches, it is also an opportunity to exchange, learn from experience and most importantly, connect the community, not only the players, but also the audience who come to watch feel happy in the first days of spring.
Nguyen Khuyen Park is a famous chess playing place in Phu Ly. During the Lunar New Year 2025, many people gathered here to interact and entertain themselves through chess games. Mr. Nguyen Tien Trung (Liem Chinh ward) said: I play chess here not only during Tet, but every day in my free time I often come out to play with everyone. Playing here has fresh air, all ages are welcome, so there are also a variety of chess positions. According to Mr. Nguyen Cao Cuong, Director of the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Phu Ly city, in recent times, the city has implemented many positive solutions to develop the sports training movement, including Chinese chess.
