NATO holds emergency meeting, Ukrainian people are terrified by Russian ICBM missiles... are notable information about the Russia-Ukraine war on the morning of November 24.
NATO-Ukraine hold emergency meeting on new Russian missile
According to Newsweek, the NATO-Ukraine Council will hold an urgent meeting on November 26 to discuss the consequences and countermeasures after Russia used the new generation Oreshnik missile to attack military facilities in Ukraine.
NATO representatives said the meeting would be held in the form of closed consultations. The agenda is said to include discussions on the possibility of providing more modern air defense systems to help Ukraine deal with the threat of hypersonic missiles.
In addition, President Zelensky instructed the country's Defense Ministry to hold meetings with Ukraine's allies to acquire air defense systems to counter the new threat.
Ukrainian parliament cancels session over fear of Oreshnik missile hit
Ukrainian parliamentarians (Verkhovna Rada) have been warned that Russia could launch a missile attack on the capital Kiev, making any large gatherings dangerous.
As a result, the Ukrainian parliament decided not to hold a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada on November 22, but also made no mention of the next parliamentary meeting, which will take place in December.

At the same time, Ukrainian parliamentarians were also called on to limit their presence and that of their families in government quarters in the capital.
This information was reported by the “Chairman of the PACE (Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe) Committee on Migration, Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons” Alexey Goncharenko.
Another MP, Mr. Taras Batenko, also mentioned the possibility of a missile attack by the Russian Armed Forces on the capital Kiev in the coming days. In his opinion, an attack on the capital is quite possible.
A day earlier, the Russian Federation launched the Oreshnik medium-range hypersonic missile, attacking the Ukrainian defense enterprise Yuzhmash in the Dnepropetrovsk region, responding to Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory, with Western long-range missiles such as ATACMS and Storm Shadow.
The missile system is considered Russia's second generation of medium-range ballistic missiles, after the RSD-10 Pioneer medium-range mobile ground-based ballistic missile developed by the Soviet Union in the late 1970s.
This type of missile is capable of attacking targets at a speed of 2-3 km/s (7,200 - 10,800 km/h) at a distance of up to 5,000 km.
Thus, Oreshnik can destroy any object in Europe. The missile system is mobile and can be used with a conventional or nuclear warhead. Experts note that currently in Western Europe and Ukraine there is no air defense system capable of intercepting such a missile.

The Ukrainian military website Mil.in.ua cited a video posted by the Telegram Astra channel showing two Russian citizens using their phones to record the moment several explosions occurred at the GRAU ammunition depot No. 67 in Bryansk Oblast in the early morning of November 19. The location of the ammunition depot is known to be in the city of Karachev in Bryansk Oblast, and about 130 km northeast of the Russia-Ukraine border.
