Ms. Lan Anh, an employee of Dien May Xanh Supermarket, shared: If in the past, the supermarket only sold a few air conditioners per month, this number has increased to dozens of air conditioners per day at the present time. The selling price is almost the same as last summer, ranging from 4.5 million to under 20 million VND/unit, depending on the type, model, brand, and capacity of the air conditioner. From established brands to popular air conditioners, the supermarket sells them all to serve the diverse needs of customers such as: LG, Samsung, Panasonic, Toshiba, Funiki...
According to information from the sales staff of Dien May Xanh Supermarket, although it is the peak season for selling refrigeration products, the supermarket still attaches importance to customer care through promotional services and installation support. If customers order in the morning, they will be supported by staff for installation on the same day, and if they buy in the afternoon, they will be installed the next day.
Not only Dien May Xanh, but also large stores and supermarkets selling electrical appliances in the city such as: Dien May Huong Nam, Do Dien, MediaMart... are also in peak sales season.
Ms. Hoang Thi Moi, residing in Group 8, Song Cau Ward, Bac Kan City, said: "The boarding house is narrow and has a corrugated iron roof, so in hot weather it is like a steamer, extremely stuffy and stuffy. Therefore, yesterday I decided to install a 9,000 BTU air conditioner to avoid the heat."
Air conditioner repairman can't keep up with the work
Since the beginning of May, Mr. Hoang Van Thuy and his colleagues have been working hard from 7am to 10pm before they can rest. For Mr. Thuy's group, having a quick lunch, or even forgetting to eat, to ensure work progress is normal.
"This job is hard but the income is good. On average, my group repairs, maintains, and installs about 10 new air conditioners per day. The salary for each air conditioner is from 300,000 to 900,000 VND. After deducting expenses, each of us earns about 1.5 to 2 million VND per day," said Hoang Van Thuy.
In Bac Kan city, there are about 30 workers and groups of workers specializing in repairing, maintaining and installing air conditioners, not to mention the technical staff of large electronics stores and supermarkets. Despite the large number of workers, every year in the hot season, "supply still cannot meet demand", so there are some workers who are "amateurs" like Mr. Bui Van Dat. Working as an electrician and plumber, with a little experience, seeing the large market demand, Mr. Dat took advantage of his free time to clean and maintain air conditioners. For "difficult cases", he often coordinates with skilled workers to repair for customers./.
Tips for using air conditioner to save electricity in summer
1. Maintain temperature not below 25 degrees Celsius
Specifically, about 26 - 28 degrees Celsius. When first turned on, you can turn it on at 23 degrees Celsius, then switch back to the above temperature. This temperature not only cools stably, helps save electricity but is also more friendly to the user's health.
2. Do not turn the air conditioner on and off repeatedly.

4. Clean and maintain equipment regularly
According to the technician, if your family uses the air conditioner regularly every day, clean and maintain the device periodically about every 6 months. If you use it less often, clean it once a year.
